Both groups were triggered easily and often by things she could not predict, such as the time she'd assigned a story that used the second person—that gimmicky "you” point of view. She thought the students would love it because it was so minimalist, but they said they felt oppressed by the second person. They had not been asked for their consent to be the protagonist of the story.
